    @MrDave475 Well technically he was the writer of the first 3 movies. He helped write the second, but most of the script was already written by Darren Lynn Bousman, and Leigh Whannell was brought in to tie that script (“The Desperate”, I think was the original title of Darren’s script) to the SAW series.

    So ‘technically’ he was a writer on SAW II, but Darren was a much bigger influence on that one than Leigh, so I am careful when I say Leigh wrote the second. Darren and Leigh wrote the second.
